Carrie is a classically trained mezzo soprano singer and pianist. She holds a Diploma for Piano, and studied singing at the College of Music with Irene Thompson. Having started singing in public at the age of twelve Carrie has years of experience singing all styles of music including folk, classical, liturgical, contemporary and celtic. Carrie has appeared in the National Concert Hall and ‘Whitehall Palace’ in London.

 

Carrie also took part in the “Gay Byrne” radio production of “Oklahoma” and subsequent Concerts in the N.C.H. She has appeared on the “Late Late Show” and “Live at Three” with the Rathmines & Rathgar Musical Society and has played many roles with them, in the Gaiety Theatre and N.C.H.
