Saying goodbye to a loved one is one of the most difficult things we will ever do. It's always helpful to have those we hold so dear close by before, during and after the funeral service. Planning, regardless of religious affiliation, race or creed, usually includes music because it is such an important part of any funeral.

 

The universal language of music is calming, healing, and unifying as people gather together. Vocal solos enhance the service and provide a wonderful tribute, and I would also lead the singing of hymns. There are different service outlines you can follow for selecting music. They vary depending on the location, and whether it's a funeral, memorial, celebration of life, or remembrance service.
